FREEDOM, LOVE, AND JUSTICE: The Source of Courage

I’m worry about something recently. I ask myself, what am I worrying about? I’m worrying about…many things…many things that due to one specific thing…which can only be neutralized by the other thing…so that all the things can be back to one thing…
I pray for this thing to happen…but…while caring about everything…does anybody actually care about “their” safety? While they care about us, do we care about them?
My sister: “Anwar really care about us…he sacrificed himself for us…he might be get caught again…”
Me: “Well…we can care about him too…”
My sister: “How?”
Me: “When he get caught, we all refuse to go to work, stop the entire country’s economy until they release Anwar and guarantee his safety.”
My sister: “…”
Me: “So? What do you think? Do you think all Anwar’s supporters willing to sacrifice themselves for him too?”
Me again: “Well sister, humans are selfish. They just care for themselves. Sometimes I wonder whether we are really worth for Anwar to do this for us…”
Some may say: “Don’t be stupid la Antonio…Anwar also selfish la…you really think he is god meh…” But to me, if I’m a selfish Anwar, why not I join BN and feed myself with all the wealth that I want? “They are just acting only la…How do you know they never torture him in the jail?” The BN already in power, why need to act? “Or may be he just want to be a PM only leh…” Well…you really think it is worth for someone get himself locked up for several years in the jail…sleeping on the cold hard floor…get beaten by the guards…JUST FOR A TITLE?!
Ladies and gentlemen, what makes someone to have COURAGE? What makes someone to have courage to against all the odds in life? Money? Title? Power? — IT IS THE WILL TO FREEDOM, LOVE, AND JUSTICE THAT LEAD TO THIS COURAGE!!!
My mother told me that if I publish my childhood blog to the whole world and I won’t get caught by the government, she will chop down her head! Well…being her son for 37 years, I know her well — even though I won’t get caught, she won’t chop down her head. However, if I really being put into the jail by the government simply because of the truth that I have written on my childhood blog, I think I will die with satisfactory. “You think by leading yourself into the jail you can save the whole world ar?!” My eldest sister said. Well, to me, finishing what we needed to finish, and what you think is the most worthy…greatest thing that you wanted to do in your whole damn life, you will never regret before you make the last close of your eyes — because, you are the man with your soul, aligned.
