Our Own Effort, Our Gift

Since 13th January, 1971, nothing came to me "free of charge", from recovering from a serious ashma when I was a kid, to getting the most expensive BMX as my birthday present when I was a teen, to an honours degree that I have obtained today, all came with the expense of my own efforts, nothing come easily.
Today, 13th January, 2007, no exception. Yesterday, I received an email from DownloadReady.com, informing me that the software product that I recently posted to Association of Shareware Professionals have been awarded with 5 over 5 points by them. I didn’t even ask for the review from them. Followed by another three companies have picked my OTK Custom DBInstaller to be listed on their Web site. They are:
And today, I went to Old Town Kopitiam, as usual, wanted to get access to Internet. Before getting myself a place to be sitted, the waiter told me that they are having a problem with their Internet connection. "Another unlucky birthday", I told myself. But since already here, might as well order something to eat. Without second thought, I started to take out my notebook and plugged it to the power point. The WiFi icon is blinking, but it’s true, unable to access to any Web sites. Check the connection settings, the default gateway is 192.168.1.1. Open my browser and enter http://192.168.1.1 — No password protection on Kopitiam’s WiFi router. Clicked on the ‘Restart’ button to restart their router — Connected. Not too bad for a birthday.
